Camper trailers in Sydney.

Royal NP forty minutes south, the Blue Mountains an hour west, Stockton Beach inside two hours. Sydney owns more of Australia's best camping inside a tank of fuel than just about any city. An OPUS lets you actually use it.

Sydney · Greater Sydney

Built for what's an hour from home.

The Sydney basin is hemmed in by national park on three sides. Royal in the south, Ku-ring-gai north, Blue Mountains and Wollemi west. An OPUS turns a Friday after-work run into a real escape — the Air Beam tent sets up in minutes, so even a single night out is worth packing the camper for.

Sydney owners tend to mix short close-in weekends with longer hauls north to the Hunter and Mid-North Coast, or south to Jervis Bay and the Shoalhaven. The OPUS range is built for both — light enough to tow behind the daily driver, tough enough for the back tracks at Watagan or the sand at Stockton.

OPUS Newcastle (Tomago) is the closest showroom — two hours up the M1. Full Australian range plus the Expedition Max on stand, with the team that knows the NSW dirt and can quote a Sydney delivery on the spot.

The trips that earn the camper

Sydney inside a tank of fuel.

The trips a Sydney OPUS owner does on repeat. None of them need a sickie.

Royal NP

Forty minutes south of the bridge. Beach pitches at Bonnie Vale, coastal walks, the closest wilderness to the CBD.

Ku-ring-gai Chase NP

North of the bridge. Sandstone country, Cowan Creek, Coba Point — a Friday-night escape from the inner west.

03

Blue Mountains NP

An hour west. Megalong Valley, Jenolan, the back end of the Six Foot Track. Set up at altitude, walk into the gorges.

04

Watagan National Forest

Just under two hours north. Dirt trails, lookouts, free camps. The Newcastle showroom is on the way back.

05

Stockton Beach (Worimi)

Two hours north of the bridge. Australia's biggest movable sand mass and a permit-only 4WD playground.

06

Jervis Bay (Booderee NP)
